10K Bush Fire Fund Raiser 2019

In 2019 as part of Australia’s most extreme bushfire season, the Central Coast and surrounding areas were not spared, but were amongst many regions in Australia ravaged by bush fires. Sadly, 26 lives were lost, 2448 homes gone and over 5 million hectares of land burnt with more than 11,000 fires over the course of one of the worst fire seasons NSW has ever experienced.
In response to the unfolding situation, the team at Inkvibe Tattoo got together as we were already involved with other local businesses and their charity events, donating tattoo gift vouchers regularly, we thought we could put on a small flash tattoo day offering $50 tattoos, on a Sunday thinking any money we could raise to help would be awesome. Little did we know the people and businesses of the Central Coast would come out in droves to support us and this great cause. With the support of 11 local and national businesses, car clubs and volunteers donating their time efforts or resources to the cause.
On the day, we had 5 artists tattooing 200 people, in an epic effort, along with raffles, auctions and a sausage sizzle, bringing our total donation to just over $10,000 raised for the Vinnie’s Bush Fire Appeal.

Next time I read a blog, Hopefully it wont fail me as much as this particular one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read, however I really believed you would have something helpful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something you could fix if you werent too busy searching for attention.
